"Blessings (not "Luck") vs Curses" (40 Days of Wisdom for Lent)

The Lord’s curse is on the house of the wicked,
but he blesses the home of the righteous.
(Proverbs 3:33 CEB)

Riches and honor are with me,
as well as enduring wealth and righteousness.
My fruit is better than gold, even fine gold;
my crops are better than choice silver.
I walk on the way of righteousness,
on the paths of justice,
to provide for those who love me
and to fill up their treasuries.
Those who find me find life;
they gain favor from the Lord.
Those who offend me
injure themselves; all those who hate me love death.
(Proverbs 8:18-21,35-36 CEB)

Through me your days will be many;
years will be added to your life.
(Proverbs 9:11 CEB)

Blessings cover the head of the righteous,
but the mouth of the wicked conceals violence.
The memory of the righteous is a blessing,
but the name of the wicked rots.
The Lord’s blessing makes a person rich,
and no trouble is added to it.
The righteous will never be shaken,
but the wicked won’t dwell in the land.
(Proverbs 10:6-7,22,30 CEB)

The Lord favors good people,
but he condemns schemers.
(Proverbs 12:2 CEB)

All the days of the needy are hard,
but a happy heart has a continual feast.
Better a little with fear of the Lord
than a great treasure with turmoil.
(Proverbs 15:15-16 CEB)

The righteous man walks in his integrity;
His children are blessed after him.
(Proverbs 20:7)

Those who say to the guilty, “You are innocent”—
the people will curse them.
nations will condemn them.
But it will go well for those who rebuke them.
A rich blessing will come to them.
(Proverbs 24:24-25 CEB)

Like a darting sparrow, like a flying swallow,
so an undeserved curse never arrives.
(Proverbs 26:2 CEB)

Greeting a neighbor with a loud voice early in the morning
will be viewed as a curse.
(Proverbs 27:14 CEB)

Reliable people will have abundant blessings,
but those with get-rich-quick schemes won’t go unpunished.
Those who give to the poor will lack nothing,
but those who turn a blind eye will be greatly cursed.
(Proverbs 28:20,27 CEB)
